What's it about: A school teacher happens on a time portal that transports him back to 1960. His friend, who has discovered it but is dying, tells him he must go back and stop the assassination of JFK (which he hopes will lead to good things).

Main Takeaway: Wow, one the best fiction books I've ever read (which I don't read much fiction so take that with a grain of salt). It's long, 800+ pages, but I flew through it. This is the first book that I ever read where my heart was pounding while reading (I didn't even know that was possible). Stephen King is obviously an amazing and accomplished write, but I never saw myself reading one of his books until a friend basically forced this on me. An outstanding read and an example of fantastic creative writing. No major takeaways, other than time travel is apparently complicated, ha. BUT the Hulu TV show was totally different. I yelled at the writing multiple times. Entertaining, yes. Accurate to the story, not at all.
