What’s it about: A list of questions to think about both for your own self reflection and to go over with a partner.  The purposes would be to determine comparability and discover any uncomfortable conversations.

Main takeaway:  Definitely a good book to go over with someone else.  It would be hard but worthwhile.

I read it alone, but there are some good questions to use for self reflection and also with someone else.

Questions like:

What would people in a past relationship say about you?

What are the must haves for a relationship?

What does the perfect marriage look like for you?

Do you want children?

Obviously, they are simple questions (some more complex and nuanced), but there is value.

I expect to use it when I am in a serious relationship.  I would take it as a red flag if someone didn’t have the desire to do so!
